EofNET Free Shell Hosting

Here it is our first reviewed free shell account provider. For now there is no rating system just a note from reviewer. Rating system will be added when we’ll have a bit more reviewed shell providers.


Reviewers note

A quality free shell account that is ment mostly for BNC or Eggdrop. Each user get his own IPv6 address. Eggdrop and Psybnc are pre-installed and there is a nice menu to help you get everything running in no time even if you are just starting learning about UNIX / Linux. You are required to visit there IRC chan once per week in order to stay active and keep your free shell account.

Submissions accepted

We started to accept submissions of free shell account providers. We know that users sometimes don’t know providers “specifications” so we made two submission forms. One is for shell account providers (advanced) and one for other users (easy) that just know of a free shell provider and want to share there knowladge. We’ll soon start adding already reviewed shell providers.

Tutorial is up

Since this is the first official post here let me first welcome you to the site. Soon we’ll provide you an up-to-date list of free shell account providers and later with time we might expand to paid shell providers. For now we’ll focus on free ones.

Tutorials have been done and are now ready for our visitors to use and start learning about UNIX and/or Linux systems. There are still some things that needs to be done (colors, easier navigation, …) and we’ll take care of that soon.

Go to the Basic commands and start learning about UNIX and/or Linux systems.
